The Real Estate Practice Group represents owners, investors and developers in all aspects of their commercial real estate portfolios, including the acquisition, financing, development, construction, leasing, management and disposition of commercial office, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects, hotels, shopping centers and agricultural, ranch and other rural lands.

The Group counsels commercial and multi-use property owners and developers on easements, encroachments and property line issues; commercial evictions; construction contracts; broker, management and vendor agreements. The Group also represents commercial tenants in leasing.

Members of the Real Estate Practice Group work closely with other practice groups to provide clients with a complete range of real estate services. For example, the Group supports the Litigation Practice Group with real estate and construction disputes, including pre-litigation advice and settlement negotiations and documentation. The Group also works with the Land Use, Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group on the environmental aspects of real estate transactions, including green building development, water and energy supply requirements, allocation of environmental risk, development entitlements and environmental review.
