Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley Grows Attorney Ranks
Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP (FAB) today announced the addition of lateral Litigation Associate, Ilse C. Scott, continuing the firm's steady growth in 2010. The firm has thirty-three attorneys across ten practice groups. Ms. Scott's practice focuses on commercial litigation with an emphasis on prosecuting and defending intellectual property complaints. She joins FAB from the San Francisco office of Paul Hastings.
FAB has been actively recruiting lateral attorneys throughout the year and plans to continue its measured growth in the third and fourth quarters of 2010.

Ilse C. Scott -- Ms. Scott is an associate and a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation. She has particular expertise in prosecuting and defending intellectual property complaints regarding trade secrets. Ms. Scott received Law and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Virginia. She resides in San Francisco.
Daniel B. Newbold - Mr. Newbold is an associate and a member of the firm's Estates & Trusts Practice Group. He focuses his practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate and business succession planning. Mr. Newbold also has significant experience in taxation, representing individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations. Mr. Newbold received an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington, a law degree from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. He resides in Berkeley, Ca., with his wife, Reichi Lee.
