Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley Expands Estates & Trusts Practice Group
(Oakland, CA) - Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP (FAB), Northern California's longest-standing multi-practice law firm, today announced Mark L. Musto has joined the firm as Of Counsel, effective July 8, 2008. Mr. Musto brings extensive experience in trust and probate litigation to his new role as a member of FAB's Estates and Trusts Practice Group. At FAB he will handle litigation for individuals and institutional trustees, executors and personal representatives, professional fiduciaries and beneficiaries. He joins the firm from Goldstein & Musto where he worked for nearly 25 years.
Mr. Musto is a respected and successful AV-rated attorney with a strong reputation encompassing a wide range of estate and trust litigation matters including cases of financial elder abuse, professional liability and fiduciary fraud.
"With trust and financial elder abuse cases on the rise, the need to expand our existing litigation capabilities within the firm was clear," said FAB Managing Partner, Barry Epstein. "These cases require an in-depth understanding of estate and trust law and a solid foundation in litigation -- skills which Mark brings to the table," he added.
Although the majority of Mr. Musto's time will be spent working on estate and trust litigation, he will lend his trial and appellate expertise to FAB's Labor & Employment Practice Group handling wrongful termination claims, public policy violations, whistleblower protection and unlawful discrimination cases.
Mr. Musto resides in Berkeley, CA with his wife Diana and three children.
