Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley Elevates Two New Partners
(Oakland, CA) January 5, 2010 - Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP (FAB), one of Northern California's longest-standing multi-practice law firms, today announced David C. Lee and Dawn Newton have been elevated to Partner. The promotion took effect on Friday, January 1, 2010.
David C. Lee is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group focusing on intellectual property matters, including trademark infringement and domain name disputes. Lee also has a variety of other business litigation experience including handling matters involving contractual rights, corporate management and real estate. He joined FAB in 2001 as an associate.
Dawn Newton is a member of FAB's Business & Corporate Transactions Practice Group specializing in trademark and copyright issues and franchise matters. Ms. Newton advises clients on licensing issues including policing marks against infringing use, and responding to allegations of infringement. For her franchise clients, Ms. Newton handles litigation matters such as post-termination and defense of franchise claims. Dawn joined FAB in 2000 as an associate.
