Our client is a seafood wholesale company which hired sales personnel from a competitor.

The competitor filed suit claiming the new employees stole protectable trade secrets and sought to enjoin their employment and recover all decreases in business following the employees' departure.

Our primary goal was to deny trade secrets were involved, defeat the claims of the former employer of misappropriation and to allow the employees and our client to continue to compete successfully. 

Anticipated Problems
There was a direct correlation between a substantial decrease in the former employer's business and increase in our client's business with the dates of the hire of the new employees, with many customers of the former employer switching to our client.
