Ms. Pasquinelli is an associate in the firm's Land Use, Environment and Natural Resources and Litigation Practice Groups. She specializes in water rights, land use, natural resources, and environmental law, as well as general business litigation.
In the realm of water law, Ms. Pasquinelli represents utilities, rural landowners, as well as water companies and districts in primarily surface water rights matters, but also handles groundwater matters as well.
In the area of land use, she represents business owners, private property owners, and public agencies in matters pertaining to the use and development of land, including planning and zoning, NEPA and CEQA compliance, Coastal Act permitting, real estate transactions, and litigation.
In the natural resources area, Ms. Pasquinelli addresses wetlands and endangered species issues that arise in connection with the use, development, and/or preservation of land.
In her environmental practice, Ms. Pasquinelli negotiates agreements between buyers and sellers of contaminated properties and works with both regulatory agencies and insurance companies to obtain satisfactory site closure.
In her litigation practice, Ms. Pasquinelli has been the lead associate on a variety of inverse condemnation, easement/boundary, real estate, and contractual rights cases. She has successfully prepared clients for both bench and jury trials. Prior to her work at FAB, she was part of the trial team defending a public entity against a developer in a federal inverse condemnation trial.
