Joseph L.J. Appel

  • Experience

    Joseph L.J. Appel is an associate and member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group. His representation of employers includes litigation in state and federal court and administrative proceedings before the Labor Commissioner, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Mr. Appel also advises employers on compliance with all aspects of employment law, including the drafting and implementation of personnel policies and training for supervisors and human resource professionals on a wide range of topics.

    In addition, Mr. Appel counsels emerging and high-growth companies on employment law compliance by designing easily implemented and scalable human resources practices.
