Jesse L. Bassett

  • Experience

    Mr. Bassett is an associate and a member of the firm's Estates & Trusts Practice Group as well as its Tax Practice Group. Utilizing his Master of Laws in Taxation degree, his practice focuses on taxation as well as sophisticated estate planning, estate and trust administration and business succession planning. 

    Mr. Bassett offers expertise in drafting a wide variety of estate planning documents including revocable living trusts, irrevocable trusts and dynasty trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, and qualified personal residence trusts.  He also assists clients with entity formation and advises closely held business owners on strategies for wealth transfer and multi-generational succession planning.  Mr. Bassett also has experience representing business owners and individuals with the IRS as well as California taxing authorities such as the Franchise Tax Board and the State Board of Equalization.
