Mr. Soper is the president and sole shareholder of James C. Soper, Inc., California professional law corporation, which is a partner in Fitzgerald Abbott & Beardsley LLP. He is a member and former chair of the firm's Business and Corporate Transactions and Estates and Trusts Practice Groups. For more than 45 years, Mr. Soper has served as counsel to numerous corporate clients. His corporate practice has included formation of business entities, drafting contracts and advising clients with respect to mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. Mr. Soper's estates and trusts practice includes providing advice and counsel to family-owned business entities concerning business succession planning.
